Important: Partner Portal Update
Effective Nov 1, 2025, access requirements for ONE.force Partner Portal in the US market are changing. To stay compliant with New York state financial regulatory guidelines, American Express needs to implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) requirements as part of ONE.force Partner Portal login experience.
What is changing:
- Logging into the ONE.force Partner Portal will now require an additional step of using an authenticator mobile app in addition to your password.
-
You will be requested to scan a QR code presented on the portal screen via an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Salesforce Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator) to generate a security token.
- Upon scanning the QR code, your ONE.force Partner Portal login username will be added to the authenticator app and a security token will be displayed that updates every 30 to 60 seconds.
- Enter the security token from the authenticator app and your new password to successfully login to the portal.
What you need to do:
-
Download any one of the recommended authenticator apps on your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play Store:
-
Once the authenticator app is downloaded, open the app and scan the QR code shown on the ONE.force Partner Portal page. This will automatically add an entry for your account in the authenticator app.
-
Every time you need to login, open the authenticator app to view the security token and enter it on the partner portal page when prompted.
Why this change:
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) significantly strengthens account security by requiring more than a password to confirm your identity. This additional layer of verification reduces the risk of unauthorized access and helps safeguard sensitive business information. As mandated by NY state financial regulations, this update is being rolled out to stay compliant and improve security controls around access and authentication.
